Championships 2011

State and National championships for 2011 are as follows;

State Foursome Championship                      Bargara                     13th, 14th and 15th March

State Championships                                     Maryborough             4th, 5th and 6th September

National Championships                                 Hobart                       17th to 21st October

QVGU State Foursome Championship 2010

During February and March leading up to the Foursome Championships the South East received a significant amount of rain for which we are grateful. The Woodford Golf Club got more than their share of rain and as a result the decision was made on the Friday to ban carts. That

unfortunately resulted in the field dropping from 174 to 104 over the weekend. Still all went well and apart from a few showers the field played on with good results being recorded.

Once again Rory Slade and Doug Witham took out the title of State Champions witha gross score of 150.

Our thanks to the Woodford Golf Club and the Woodford Veterans for their support and friendship.
